Duke Farmers Market Starts Biweekly Summer Schedule

Market returns this Friday then every other week until September

Beginning this week, the Duke Farmers Market will make a temporary switch to hosting the event every other week through July and August.

Following its annual seasonal schedule, the market will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every other Friday on July 11, 25 and Aug. 8 and 22. It will return to a weekly schedule for its final month in September.

A full schedule of Duke Farmers Market dates, including days and times for markets at Duke Regional and Raleigh hospitals, can be found on the Farmers Market website.

This week’s market will feature farm-fresh products from seven local farms and vendors, including Great Harvest Bread. Staff from LIVE FOR LIFE, Duke’s employee wellness program that sponsors the market, will be on-hand to provide free recipe cards for dishes to prepare with peaches.

In addition to produce for sale, visitors to the market can also pick up a to-go lunch from Cosmic Cantina, Commons Restaurant, Core Catering at Divinity or NOSH@JoRae Café grill.
