Dancing and Learning at Homecoming

More than 2,000 alumni were on campus for Homecoming Weekend

The fall sunshine was glorious, the campus looked resplendent and the football team won.  It added up to an ideal weekend for Homecoming.  Student dancers wowed the crowd at the President's Dance in Wilson Gym Friday (dancers pictured above and below, the band).

Above, football coach David Cutcliffe greets the fans at a Friday pep rally, the day before Duke took the lead in the ACC Coastal Division with a 20-13 victory over Virginia. The win raised Duke's record to 6-1 and made the team eligible for its third-straight bowl game.

The special luncheon featured remarks by Cardona, principal at the Dewey Square Group and founder of Latinovations. Cardona is also a Democratic strategist and CNN/CNN en Español political contributor where she provides political analysis on US domestic issues.
