Welcome to the Week at Duke in 60 Seconds.

This week, Duke students built their own Berlin Wall in front of Duke Chapel, added graffiti, and will tear down the wall this weekend. The demonstration is in celebration of the 25th anniversary of when the Berlin Wall fell.

A Duke grad and team of volunteers host a monthly Adaptive Climbing Program for people with disabilities. The program makes rock climbing accessible for everyone, and helps climbers increase their confidence.

President Brodhead recognized university and health system employees last week for outstanding efforts in teamwork and diversity at the 2014 Blue Ribbon Awards

Finally, alumni in the arts, media, and entertainment industries return to campus this weekend to advise students about their fields. DEMAN weekend not only provides networking opportunities, but also strengthens arts education at Duke.
