Hurricane Joaquin may have thwarted the plans of some alumni returning to campus for Duke's annual Homecoming festivities, but nearly 2,000 made it back to campus. During the weekend, alumni attended the President's Dance in Wilson Gym, reunited with each other under rain-soaked tents in Krzyzewskiville and cheered on the Duke football team to a 9-7 victory over Boston College. In addition, the Duke Alumni Association presented its annual awards to 32 alumni and alumni groups for their volunteer service to Duke and honored volunteers at the 50-yard line during Saturday's game.
