Duke community turns out for N.C. PrideFest Day
Despite rain, the Duke Community turned out for the N.C. PrideFest day on Saturday, Sept. 29. Among the approximately 10,000 people attending the event were staff and students from Duke's Center for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Life, who decorated and walked with one of the many floats in the parade. This was the 28th year of the event, which is hosted by Duke on East Campus each year.
